How to Ship Perfume Internationally
Generally no. Perfume, fragrance and aftershave are dangerous goods and generally cannot be shipped internationally through Jetkrate. Do not buy or send one to a Jetkrate address unless Jetkrate has formally approved the exact product and route. For an exact-item assessment, email support@jetkrate.com with the product link, item specifications, quantity, origin and destination before purchase, and check the prohibited-items policy. An enquiry does not approve shipping.
Why perfume is difficult to ship
Perfume can be restricted because of:
- Flammable alcohol content
- Glass bottles that can break
- Leakage risk
- Airline dangerous goods rules
- Courier network limitations
- Destination customs restrictions
- Quantity limits
Even small bottles or gift sets can be refused by couriers.
Can Jetkrate forward perfume?
Perfume, fragrance and aftershave generally cannot be shipped internationally through Jetkrate. Any exception requires formal approval of the exact product, origin, destination and available service before purchase.
Do not send perfume to your Jetkrate address unless you have checked first.
What about cosmetics and beauty products?
Not all beauty products are perfume, but many still need checking. Nail polish, aerosols, sprays, essential oils, alcohol-based products and some liquids may also be restricted.
Solid cosmetics and non-liquid beauty products are often easier, but still need to comply with import rules.
What happens if perfume arrives at the warehouse?
If perfume arrives without prior approval and cannot be shipped, stop and contact Jetkrate for the handling options and fees that are actually available. Do not assume that international forwarding, return or disposal will be possible.
This can be frustrating, so it is much better to check before buying.

Ask first, buy second
Perfume is not a product category to guess on. Send Jetkrate the product details before ordering so we can advise whether forwarding is possible.
