Does 6pm Ship to Australia? How to Buy Safely from the US

6pm does not currently ship orders directly to Australia. The retailer says orders may be sent only to US states and territories. It also says shoppers use third-party shipping services at their own risk. That means an Australian shopper can consider a US package-forwarding address, but the order still needs to pass 6pm’s checkout, item, cost and return checks.

Jetkrate can provide the US delivery address and the onward package-forwarding step to Australia. It is not automatically the best route. Check whether the exact product is already available from an Australian store or another seller that delivers directly, compare the complete cost, and stop if 6pm rejects your truthful billing or payment details.

What 6pm’s current shipping policy says

On its shipping help page, 6pm says that orders may currently be shipped only to US states and territories. The same answer warns that third-party shipping services are used at the shopper’s own risk. This is 6pm’s wording and risk boundary; it is not a promise that every order sent to a package-forwarding address will be accepted.

6pm also says inaccurate billing information, or a difference between the billing and shipping addresses, can delay an order while the payment provider completes its approval process. Use your real name, real Australian billing address and an accepted payment method. Use your assigned Jetkrate US address only as the delivery address. If the retailer or payment provider rejects the order, do not alter your billing identity to force it through.

The policy and prices in this guide were checked on 14 September 2026. Recheck the 6pm shipping page, the exact product page and checkout before buying because stock, delivery charges and retailer rules can change.

When a US package-forwarding address can make sense

6pm sells shoes, clothing and accessories, with much of its inventory described by the retailer as closeouts, discontinued styles and hard-to-find styles. A forwarding route can be useful when the exact brand, style, size or colour you want is genuinely unavailable through a practical Australian or direct-delivery route.

It can also make sense when you are comparing several ordinary, eligible items and the complete packed cost remains reasonable. The shelf discount alone does not answer that question. International forwarding, currency conversion, Australian taxes or charges, optional cover and a possible US return can erase an apparent bargain.

Use an Australian or direct retailer instead when it has the exact item on acceptable terms, especially if sizing is uncertain or a return is likely. A local purchase normally gives you a simpler return path and clearer consumer support. Jetkrate should solve a real access problem, not add an unnecessary step.

Seven checks to complete before you order

1. Match the exact product

Record the brand, model or style name, product number, colour, size, material and seller. Do not compare only the product title. Outlet and closeout inventory can use older colours or discontinued versions, and limited quantities may not be restocked.

Search the exact identifier through the brand’s Australian site, authorised Australian retailers and reputable marketplaces. Compare seller identity, condition, warranty, delivery and return terms. A similar-looking local item is not necessarily the same item, but a genuinely equivalent local option may still be the better purchase.

2. Confirm truthful checkout acceptance

6pm’s help centre lists Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express and says it does not accept PayPal. Card-network support does not prove that every Australian-issued card or every order sent to a package-forwarding address will pass.

Enter your real Australian billing information and the assigned Jetkrate address as the US shipping address. Review the address format carefully, including your suite or account identifier. Stop if checkout does not accept the order, if the payment provider declines it, or if 6pm cancels it after review.

3. Check that the item can be forwarded

Ordinary apparel, unpowered footwear and simple accessories are usually easier to assess than regulated, powered, liquid or fragile goods. Check the exact product materials and components rather than relying on the category name.

Take extra care with watches or other items containing batteries, perfume, aerosols, cosmetics, liquids, supplements, food, magnets, sharp tools, fragile products, high-value jewellery and oversized goods. 6pm itself notes that some watches may be treated as hazardous material because of their batteries. Review Jetkrate’s restricted-items checklist before paying. If eligibility is unclear, confirm it before the retailer dispatches the parcel.

4. Compare the complete delivered cost

Build the decision from every likely cost, not the sale price alone:

  • the 6pm item price after any promotion;
  • US domestic delivery and applicable US tax shown at checkout;
  • currency conversion and card fees;
  • the Jetkrate forwarding quote based on the received parcel;
  • any packaging or optional service you select;
  • Australian GST, duty or other destination charges where applicable; and
  • the cost and risk of returning the item to the United States.

On 14 September 2026, 6pm advertised free standard US delivery on qualifying orders of US$100 or more before tax and a US$3.95 standard charge below the threshold. Treat those as dated observations, not permanent prices. Confirm the amount in your own checkout. Use Jetkrate’s package-forwarding cost guide to assemble the full comparison.

5. Allow for the packed parcel, not just the item

Shoes often arrive in a retail box inside a shipping carton. That box can increase the parcel’s chargeable size even when the shoes are light. Bags, boots and structured accessories can create the same issue.

The forwarding quote depends on the parcel that reaches the warehouse, not a product-page photo. Keep original packaging when it matters for returns, resale or product protection. If you are willing to change packaging, decide only after you understand how that choice affects condition and return eligibility.

6. Price the return before you buy

6pm’s current return policy requires merchandise to be unworn, in the condition received and in its original box or packaging. Returns must be started within 30 days. Customers pay the return shipping, and outbound shipping charges are not refunded when an order is returned.

An Australian shopper using a US package-forwarding address must allow time and money for the item to travel back to the United States. The retailer says a return can take up to 30 days to be inspected and processed after it reaches the fulfilment centre, and that an international-card refund can take additional time. If you are unsure about shoe size, fit or condition, a local retailer with an easier return may be the better choice.

7. Save the evidence for a changing closeout item

Before ordering, save the product name, product number, size, colour, condition, price, stock status, delivery estimate and return terms shown to you. Keep the order confirmation and parcel records. Closeout inventory can disappear quickly, so a replacement in the same size or colour may not be available if the order is cancelled, lost or returned.

How to order from 6pm with Jetkrate

  1. Check Australia and direct delivery first. Search the exact style and product number, not just the brand.

  3. Check the item and likely cost. Review restrictions, parcel size, the forwarding route to Australia and the return exposure before checkout.
  4. Order truthfully from 6pm. Use your real billing and payment information. Enter your assigned Jetkrate US address as the delivery address. Stop on rejection or cancellation.
  5. Wait for warehouse receipt. Match the received parcel to your order and review the available forwarding quote and options.
  6. Choose whether to forward. Confirm the destination details, declaration and expected destination charges before dispatching the parcel to Australia.

The broader USA-to-Australia package-forwarding guide explains the route. If the exact item is suitable and the complete comparison works, create a Jetkrate account to get your US delivery address.

Which 6pm purchases are better candidates for forwarding?

A good candidate is specific, ordinary and return-tolerant: for example, a known-size unpowered shoe, an ordinary garment in a familiar fit, or a simple accessory with clear materials and dimensions. It should be unavailable through a practical local or direct route and still make sense after the forwarding and return costs are included.

A poor candidate is an uncertain-size item, a low-value impulse purchase overwhelmed by delivery cost, or a product with a battery, liquid, aerosol, restricted ingredient, unclear material, fragile construction, very high value or large box. It is also a poor candidate when you need an easy exchange, local warranty support or guaranteed timing.

Frequently asked questions

Does 6pm deliver directly to Australia?

No. As checked on 14 September 2026, 6pm said it shipped only to US states and territories. Its policy should be rechecked before every order.

Can I use an Australian card on 6pm?

6pm lists major card networks and discusses processing times for international-card refunds, but that does not guarantee acceptance of every Australian-issued card. Use your real Australian billing address and stop if checkout or the payment provider rejects the transaction.

Does 6pm allow package-forwarding addresses?

6pm’s own shipping answer says third-party shipping services are used at the shopper’s own risk. That is not a guarantee of acceptance or retailer responsibility after delivery to the US address. Confirm the exact order at checkout and keep the retailer’s risk boundary in mind.

Are 6pm returns free from Australia?

No general free-return claim is responsible. 6pm says customers pay return shipping and outbound shipping charges are not refunded. An Australian shopper must account for the international return leg back to the United States.

Is package forwarding from 6pm always cheaper?

No. Compare the item, US delivery, tax, exchange rate, forwarding quote, destination charges, packaging choices and possible return. A sale price can still produce a higher or less convenient total than a local or direct purchase.

Should I remove the shoe box to reduce parcel size?

Only after weighing cost against protection and return needs. A box can increase chargeable size, but removing it may affect condition, presentation or return eligibility. Keep the original packaging when sizing, returns or collector condition matter.

Bottom line

6pm does not currently deliver directly to Australia, and its policy places third-party shipping at the shopper’s risk. Jetkrate can provide a US package-forwarding route when the exact eligible item is not practical to buy locally or directly, truthful checkout succeeds and the complete delivered cost still works.

Start with the exact product, not the discount headline. Confirm item eligibility, use real billing details, price the packed parcel and understand the US return before you commit. If any of those checks fail, choose another seller or do not place the order.
